Put The Love On Wax

Love On Wax is a vinyl appreciation party in Philadelphia that helps inform the community about the city's deeply rooted culture in all the music we love to this day. We began hosting this party last year and are hoping to present our photos and videos to showcase the Philly music scene. After curating the community, the space and the event, our next step is to build out a firm portfolio of photos and videos that help paint a perfect picture of the music culture. Last year, we were able to host Love On Wax at Gryphon Cafe, Brewerytown Beats and The International Bar with a diverse crowd of music lovers, vinyl collectors, Philly DJ's, photographers and the general public all ready to dance while learning more about the music that has influenced everything they love. The Love On Wax party serves to not just be a place for everyone to enjoy the music but to also build a community of dedicated learners all showing appreciation for historical music culture.
