One-of-a-Kind Porcelain Dolls

I propose to make two hand sculpted one of a kind porcelain dolls of Billie Holiday. Like the prior project for which i created three Marian Anderson dolls, the Billie Holiday dolls will be in her likeness, dressed in a garment typical of those she wore in which to perform. My dolls have been shown at the American Craft Museum, the Smithsonian Renwick Museum and recently at the Prizm Art Fair in Miami. Awards include the Gold Award Best in Show from Peters Valley School of Craft and the 2020 Award of Excellence from the American Craft Council. The dolls will be approximately 24-30" tall, and will have custom made stands. One will be donated to the African American Museum Philadelphia, one will; be offered for sale in my gallery.
